University of New South Wales Indigenous Australian Engineering School Program (IAES)

Earlier this term Mia participated in the University of New South Wales Indigenous Australian Engineering School Program (IAES) for students who want to follow a career in Engineering. Mia spent 5 days  at the university experiencing lectures, meeting with Engineering companies with visits to Admiralty House to meet with the Governor General Sam Mostyn. Mia also participated in a Tribal Warrior cruise learning about Indigenous history of Sydney, Gadigal Country. 

Mia summed up her time on this program as 'This was an incredible engineering program which completely changed my perspective on a career in Engineering.' 

Thank you UNSW for hosting Mia and we hope she will be there next year fulfilling her dreams.
