Junior History

Junior History

History in the Junior School is about becoming part of the story, as a result we are very procactive learners.

In Year 8 we dress up and make various items that represent the medieval world. In Year 9 we research famous Australians and take on thier personalitites to present our findings. In Year 10 we venture out to Sydney to make history real.

History is a great way to bring our past alive.

This land we meet on today holds the stories and memories of all Aboriginal people. The land we are upon is Millennia old. Below us and above us the earth and the sky has always taken care of us. I pay my respects to the elders past and present and acknowledge how much they have cared for this nation since the beginning of time.
