Catching public transport

As a parent or carer, it’s your responsibility to get your child to and from school safely. Student safety is our priority. Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.

Catching a bus

• Students must not join or leave buses in Gosford and must proceed directly to and from school unless parental permission to alight at some other point is given in writing. Students must assemble in an orderly fashion inside the school grounds before joining the buses at the end of the day.

• All students are to remain at school after arriving by bus in the morning. They are not to go to the railway station, shopping centre or any other venue.

Catching a train

• Students should check train schedules in advance using Transport for NSW apps or websites to ensure timely arrival at school.
• Allow extra time to account for any delays and to walk from the train station to school.
• Show consideration to other passengers and keep noise to a minimum, especially during peak travel times.

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
