White Ribbon Day Friday 20 November 2020.

Henry Kendall High School community held a powerful White Ribbon Day assembly. The student body was respectful in listening and responding to such important messages. Thank you to Mr Wawrzyk, Mr Reece, Mr Herring and our school leaders Brandon Willmette and David Hong for sharing their thoughts. At the conclusion of the assembly, our students pledged to help end all forms of violence against women on our pledge wall.

This land we meet on today holds the stories and memories of all Aboriginal people. The land we are upon is Millennia old. Below us and above us the earth and the sky has always taken care of us. I pay my respects to the elders past and present and acknowledge how much they have cared for this nation since the beginning of time.
