On Tuesday 3 September, HKHS held it's first 'Wear It Purple Day'. The aim of the day was to create and foster a school culture that promotes respect, diversity and social equality, whereby all young people feel safe and included at school to be proud of who they are; because we are all different. On the day students were encouraged to wear something purple - this includes purple socks, headbands, scarfs, belts etc.
A cake competition was held with some very colourful and creative entries! Reece took out first place, a Year 12 group won 2nd place and Katalena won 3rd. Congratulations to our talented students for your amazing cakes.
