Interschool Mario Kart Championship – A Day of Fun, Friendship and Racing!

On Wednesday 19 June, Henry Kendall High School hosted the Interschool Mario Kart Championship, welcoming four students from Erina High School to compete against our own Daniel, Maddox, Dylan and Hayden. The event aimed to develop social skills through gaming and to encourage good sportsmanship – something all students demonstrated throughout the day. It was wonderful to see our Gold Class students from Special Education helping to cook a delicious BBQ lunch for all the competitors, adding to the supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Both Henry Kendall High School teams raced their way to the Grand Final, with Daniel and Maddox claiming victory in a thrilling final race. To cap off the day, teachers joined in on the fun with a friendly (but fiercely competitive) race featuring Mrs Payne, Mrs Petersen, Mr Herring and Mrs Gunderson. A big thank you to Mr Rogers, Mr Talty and Mr Galante from Erina High School for helping to organise such a successful event. We look forward to growing the competition in the years to come!
