Young Dobell Art Prize 2025!

We are excited to announce that two of our Visual Arts students Jade and Ebony from Year 11, have had their portraits accepted into the prestigious Young Dobell Art Prize 2025.

This annual exhibition showcases the incredible talent of young artists aged 5–18 from Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Maitland, the Hunter, and the Central Coast. The competition invites participants to create either a portrait of someone special or a landscape of a meaningful place, inspired by the legacy of Sir William Dobell.

Exhibition Dates: 31 May – 3 August 2025 at the Museum of Art and Culture (MAC), 2A First Street, Booragul.
