Year 10 Jewish Museum Excursion

On Wednesday 13 March, the HSIE faculty and our Year 10 students visited the Sydney Jewish Museum to further develop their understanding of the Holocaust and its impact on world history. Students were able to meet with Holocaust survivors such as Eddie Jaku who were able to share their experiences during the Holocaust and the time they spent in concentration camps like Auschwitz. Students were also able to take a guided tour through the museum where they were able to view in greater detail aspects of the holocaust that they have been studying in class.
