The Northern NSW Futsal Championships were held on Thursday 29 April 2021.
Well done to the Under 14’s girls. They played in their first Futsal tournament. The girls finished with two draws and two losses. Great effort girls!!
The Under 16’s girls successfully qualified for the grand final. The girls won their semi final 5-0. Well done girls and good luck in the final.
The Under 19's girls started off the day with a positive 2-2 draw against Woy Woy. The girls unfortunately then went on to lose the next two group games against Lisarow HS and The Entrance HS. The girls finished fourth in the group and played a semi final against The Entrance High. It was close game for the majority, however, the girls went down 6-2 against a strong team. Special mention to Megan Blair for scoring late in the game from behind half way. Congratulations girls.
The Under 19's boys started off their group stage with a tough 6-0 loss. It was looking like being a tough day for the boys, however they quickly turned things around and went four games undefeated to make the grand final. The boys will play The Entrance HS in the final and will also qualify for the next stage at the Newcastle Region Futsal Competition as being one of the top two placed teams. Congratulations boys.
