Congratulations Holly Miller on receiving the 2020 Caltex Best All Rounder Award

Henry Kendall High School has announced Year 12 student Holly Miller as the school’s recipient of the 2020 Caltex Best All Rounder Award, one of Australia’s most prestigious secondary school prizes.

Holly joins a select group of secondary students around Australia who have received a Caltex Best All Rounder Award for excellence in their studies, on the sports field and for their work in the community.

Holly Miller has been enthusiastically involved in school sport, representing Henry Kendall in futsal, soccer, oztag and running. She is a proud Aboriginal woman and has been an influential advocate for Indigenous education in our school. She has also contributed to the local community through her MAX Potential project and significantly through her role as School Captain, through which she has represented the school at a variety of functions and ceremonies and has been an excellent leader and role model. Academically, she has performed well due to her motivational dedication to her studies. We would also like to recognise her achievement of highly commended for the Dame Marie Bashir Peace Award, for which Holly is only one of four students in the state to be recognised for fostering peace, harmony and leadership.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Halliday, said the Australian fuel and convenience company was proud to have recognised generations of students like Holly Miller since the awards began in 1985.

The Caltex Best All Rounder Award has been presented to thousands of final-year students around the country across its 35-year history.
