The Lion’s Youth of the Year Zone final hosted by the Lions Club of Terrigal/Wamberal was held on Tuesday night 19 February 2019. Wow, what a night! Henry Kendall High School was represented by three outstanding young citizens – Alexandra Sidiroplous, Mason Colwell and Senjay Turner.
All three students were fine ambassadors for Henry Kendall High School highlighting their diverse backgrounds, attributes and community spirit. The candidates were of a high calibre with a fierce and tight competition. Unfortunately Mason & Alexandra were unsuccessful in reaching the next stage, congratulations to Senjay who will be representing Henry Kendall High School in the next round. They should be very proud of their achievements and their willingness to take an active and constructive role in their communities. I have no doubt we will be hearing great things about Senjay, Alexandra and Mason and how they will have a positive impact on their communities in the future. They are leaders in the making.
