Borrowing
Students can access the school library catalogue at home through the student portal via the My Library (Oliver) application. This allows students to search for books and digital resources, to renew loans before their due date and to write book reviews.
Students use their school student ID card to borrow. The ID card is valid throughout their time at school.
Students can borrow:
- Year 7 - 5 books
- Year8 - 6 books
- Year 9 - 7 books
- Year 10 - 8 books
- Year 11 and 12 - 10 books
The senior fiction and manga, and senior non-fiction collection items are only available to students in Years 11 to 12 unless parental/carer permission has been provided to the Teacher Librarian to borrow these books.
Books are returned via the returns slot in front of the library desk.
If students have overdue books their borrowing may be restricted until the items have been returned. Email notifications of overdue books are sent out fortnightly to student school email accounts and students are encouraged to return items on time to ensure everyone has access to the items they need.
