Our Administration Team: The Heart of Support at Henry Kendall High School

At Henry Kendall High School, we recognise that the success of our students and the smooth operation of our school depend on far more then just teaching staff. Our dedicated administration team plays a crucial role in supporting students, staff and parent / carers, working collaboratively to create a welcoming, efficient and nurturing environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

The School Administrative Officers are often the first friendly faces you meet when you enter our school. By delivering exceptional support and managing a professional, welcoming front office, they play a vital role in fostering positive communication and assistance. Beyond the front office, School Administrative Officers contribute their expertise within the Science Faculty, Library, Copy Room and Hospitality/Food Technology kitchens, each role integral to the daily operations and learning experience at Henry Kendall High School.

Our administration team is led by the School Administration Manager, who plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school’s administrative functions. The School Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the School Administrative Officers in their diverse roles, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to deliver outstanding assistance. The School Administration Manager also manages the organisation of school functions, presentations and actively supports maintaining a positive school image.

Working alongside the School Administration Manager is our Business Manager, who holds primary responsibility for the school’s financial management, budgeting and resource allocation. The Business Manager ensures that school finances are carefully managed, contractors and maintenance services are coordinated effectively, and operational needs are met to support the entire school community.

Together, the School Administration Manager and Business Manager provide essential leadership and management that underpin the daily running of Henry Kendall High School, enabling a supportive environment for students, staff and parent/carers.

Supporting our maintenance needs, the General Assistant maintains our extensive grounds, playing fields, gardens and lawns, as well as managing equipment upkeep, minor repairs and the smooth distribution of supplies.

Henry Kendall High School is proud to operate a shared agriculture farm located on Racecourse Road. Our Farm Assistant is instrumental in preparing and maintaining the agricultural facilities, caring for livestock, operating machinery and ensuring the upkeep of tools and equipment critical to our agricultural curriculum.

Together, our administration and support staff form the backbone of Henry Kendall High School, enabling teachers to focus on delivering quality education while ensuring students, families and staff receive comprehensive assistance and care every day.
